Saka Bahasa Indonesia is a language institution founded by Dhamalia Lantika, S.S., M.A., an Indonesian linguist and professional BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing) educator. She is an alumna of the Master’s Program in Indonesian Linguistics at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and has been officially selected as an Indonesian Language Teacher Abroad (Duta Bahasa Negara) through a government program of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia (KEMENDIKDASMEN).

Based in Yogyakarta, Saka Bahasa Indonesia is dedicated to providing high-quality Indonesian and Javanese language instruction for non-native speakers with diverse backgrounds and learning goals. Our programs are designed for learners who require Indonesian for academic study, professional communication, cultural integration, or long-term residence in Indonesia.

Our teaching approach combines a communicative approach with an integrated linguistic approach, ensuring that learners not only understand grammatical structures, but are also able to use Indonesian and Javanese accurately, appropriately, and confidently in real-life contexts. Language learning at Saka Bahasa is not limited to vocabulary and conversation—it is deeply connected to cultural norms, academic conventions, and social interaction.

All tutors at Saka Bahasa Indonesia are trained language educators with academic backgrounds in linguistics and language education, and have gained their expertise through both formal study and extensive teaching experience. Our team has worked with learners from more than 30 countries across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Australia, including students, professionals, researchers, and scholarship recipients.

Saka Bahasa Indonesia operates under PT. Jalin Aksara Indonesia. Our registered office is located in Pandes II, Wonokromo, Pleret, Bantul, Yogyakarta, and is used for legal and administrative purposes. Learning sessions are conducted flexibly to support learners’ comfort and progress. For learners based in Yogyakarta, classes may take place at students’ homes, cafés, libraries, or university environments. We also provide online classes via Google Meet, allowing learners from anywhere in the world to access our programs.
