When I started my lessons with Alin, I had already been taking online Indonesian lessons with other tutors for about a year. As I was traveling to Indonesia in 2023, I began with 20 hours of on-site lessons with Alin. Upon returning to my home country, we continued with online lessons via Skype. Currently, we have two-hour lessons per week.
Alin is very patient and friendly, always adapting our conversations to my level. “I was taking courses with Saka Bahasa for two semesters in Yogyakarta in 2018 and 2019. She, my tutor, is an enthusiastic, intelligent, warm young person and teacher who has a strong dedication to teaching Bahasa Indonesia to people from foreign countries. “I was following it for about 4/5 months with some of my roommates last year in the Fall semester. The classes given by my tutor were really nice. The learning method of the lessons, which included a lot of speaking and listening, was really helpful and help me improve my indonesian skills quite quickly. Apart from that, I enjoyed the lessons a lot as my tutor was a great teacher but also a friend. The visit to the orphanage was very interesting and gave me extra insights of indonesian culture. My tutor also took us to a traditional dance once!
